More RP sketches

I've been playing with Nix and Nisa in the Role Play realm lately and got a couple good sketches out of the it.

So, at one point in the RP (one point? don't mean several points?...) Nix goes a little psycho because he's overloaded by black magic and his god powers and well... kinda takes out a large portion of Tokyo. Opps. When Nisa finally gets to him, he's surrounded in a ball of black magic and bad memories. This is how he looks when she finds him, with his eyes all blacked out. Though, he'd have cooler clothes. I was just kinda lazy.

I don't know what got them into this situation, but Nisa is claiming her right to Nix. I think Kyro* probably tried to pull something, she'd be likely to do that. *grins* This drawing amuses me rather greatly. My friend Kar thinks Nix is kinda freaked because she's hugging his head into her boobs. heh. I like to think it's more the fact that Nisa is showing some signs of affection.
And look! I drew Nix in his cool jacket! Go me!


*Kyro, for the record, belongs to Karalyn. Kyro's a riot. I should draw her more often....

Just one sketch for you.

Realm: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

This is a companion piece to the Fai sketch I posted a bit back. While I was working on the color on Fai's piece, my friend Kar asked in fangirlish delight if I was planning on drawing Kurogane to match. I'll admit, I hadn't even thought of it. But it seemed only natural, to do draw Kuro as well. This one should be fun. The background is going to be in reds and oranges. I can't wait to start on it.


*So, the only thing I lost on my vacation to Toronto was my very lovely friend, my mechanical pencil. It was very sad. We'd been through a lot. And I can draw with normal pencils only for so long before I'm sharpening them after every minute. So I headed off to my favorite art store Opus and picked up and new one. And I found the exact same as my old pencil, just in purple. huh. We take what we're given.

I took a little vacation, and actually did little drawing, but I've got a couple of things from then, and some things from the past few days. Sketch Dump here we come! (And a whole lot of Nix, because he needs the attention. )

My boy Nix. He's pulling back his hair before he goes to spar for a bit. Drawing him in hakama makes me really want a pair of Nolwyn's hakama. They are damn comfortable... but I digress. This is the first decent sketch I've drawn of Nix in ages. He needs more love. Really.


And more Nix, looking a little... er... damaged? If I ever finish this (which I hope I do) it will be in ink, and hard black and white. This is a little different than my usual style, but I like how it's come out so far. I hope I can work out the rest...

Still in the RP realm. Just a small little sketch of Nix and Nisa being happy which is rare for two reasons: 1) I seem to have a problem writing happy things for my characters, and 2) Nix is usually paired with Katrina. But well, story changes toward the end. Nisa needed some happiness after it all. She got the short end of the stick far too often. Anyway, I was quite happy with the scribble, and it's cuteness.



Last doodle for the night:
I had a lot of free time on flight back from my trip, and I had my brush pens with me, so I decided to fool around with them a bit. I have an idea for a piece with Nisa which I wanted to do, but it required rocks. Lots of rocks. Rocks are something I've never really produced in color, let alone with brush pens. Actually, I've never done anything background related with my brush pens. Or anything, really. I'm happy with the result, for a first try. And suffering from Copic Marker Lust again. More colors would be wonderful...
